A Dream Rooted in Design

It all started with a simple thought: What if we could showcase the brilliance of African design to the world? It wasn’t a grand, fully-formed idea at first, just a flicker of inspiration born from a love of architecture, art, and creativity. But that small spark grew into something much bigger—a platform that could elevate African design to new heights.

We knew that Dorted had the potential to be more than just a magazine or a website. It could be a movement, a community that connects and inspires. And with that vision, we decided to take a leap of faith.

So, with faith in our hearts and the conviction that Dorted could make a real difference, we jumped headfirst into the unknown.

The journey wasn’t easy. There were challenges, doubts, and moments where we weren’t sure how things would turn out. But with every step forward, we found strength in our purpose—and a lot of unexpected courage along the way.
